Agenda

There was one item listed on the agenda for May 6 and that item was a Budget Forum for 2025, which showed a general fund expense budget of $399 million vs. $396 million in 2024.

The Board of County Commission Administration created the Power Point presentation, which covered five key areas for the first quarter of 2025.

The presentation showed a projected revenue budget of $393 million for the first quarter of 2025 versus an actual revenue budget of $390 million, and a projected expense budget of $401 million vs. an actual expense budget of $399 million for the same period.

Average wage growth for 2021-2025 was rising to 5% for the Q1 of 2025 vs. 4% a year ago, according to the presentation.

No details or transcript of the meeting was posted to the commission’s webpage.

County Administrator Jeff Aluotto already has filed a recommended budget for FY 2025 that is balanced at $389.3 million, which represents a 1.7% reduction from the approved FY 2024 budget.
